"It Works" with Steph

There's a new product I liked called simply 'It Works', and helps people lose inches very fast.

It's an interesting toning and detoxification body wrap. According to some results, people are able to lose between 1 to 6 inches in 45 minutes. That is an impressive statistic if true.

A bit more that I've found out about it:

  • Also known as the Ultimate Body Applicator
  • The naturally-based body wrap detoxifies the body, making it easier to lose weight
  • It also tightens, tones, and firms
  • Especially useful for new mothers, people who have had a gastric bypass, and of course anyone that wants to fix and tone trouble spots
  • It stimulates collagen growth and minimises stretch marks
  • The Body Wrap is convenient in that you can apply them at home
  • Lastly, it's much less expensive in comparison to health spas and the like.

If feeling and looking good and toning up is important to you, it might be worth checking into this product. At least you might perhaps trial it.

Head to Steph's Facebook page now to get in touch. You'll find pictures and videos for you to look through to help you decide.

Tried it? Or just ordered some? Tell me what you think in a comment below.

Voting for Searchwords - Telstra Business Awards 2012

There's currently a great opportunity to help get much-needed money find its way to charity, and all it takes is a few clicks from each of us.

Searchwords is an Aussie company that was recently nominated for the 1300Australia People's Choice Awards 2012.

In their own words:

"Searchwords provides Australian small businesses with a “Big Business” online presence coupled with local business service, support and price. Searchwords removes the need for expensive and useless print directory listings and uses proven SEO analytics and its own customised system to help Australian businesses drive local customers to their in-store business. This gives Australian small businesses a chance to be online at the lowest cost. Searchwords creates an online presence for local businesses through the following product offerings:

• Websites
• Local Search Engine Optimisation
• Social Media
• Media (Video/Photography)
• Graphic Design
• Directory Listings"

It's a great example of an Aussie battler. One of the bonuses of their work is to make the world a greener, more environmentally-friendly place by helping people move beyond printed paper.

And the best part: Searchwords have promised to donate all prize winnings to charity should they win.

So we need to make it the people's choice, and quickly.

Voting closes on May 28. Follow this link now and vote.

Please also share a link to this post on facebook, twitter - everywhere you can - as they need lots of votes to win.

We wish Searchwords the best of luck, and well done on your generous pledge.

Ties 'n' Cuffs - First Impressions

I've recently spent a bit of time at Ties 'n' Cuffs.

Because first impressions count, here's what I've found out about them.

Ties 'n' Cuffs have an excellent range of quality silk ties (including "not-so-skinny" and they had a "5 for $99" sale on skinny ties when I checked) and a great selection of cufflinks - including sterling silver designer cufflinks and novelty cufflinks (sports team colours and emblems from AFL to NBA basketball), and of course they specialise in custom made ties and engraved cufflinks.

But they stock a lot more.

Here are some highlights (note the quality brand names):

Ties 'n' Cuffs will dress a budget-conscious person very nicely. They also offer corporate custom made ties and gear as well.

They are big on their AFL cufflinks and other sports items, so if you love your team, consider showing that you really mean it.

Ties 'n' Cuffs has been synonymous with personalised cufflinks and other quality mens accessories for around 7 years now. In reality, TNC are quite famous for an Australia-based online store, and if you hadn't heard of them til now, it's great to have introduced you.

I should mention in passing that TNC have an interesting blog. Do you agree, for example, with their recent blog post encouraging a timeless approach to fashion for men that want to turn heads?

Where to from here? Head on over to Ties 'n' Cuffs. Try them. Order something nice - for yourself, or as a gift (they have a selection of gift sets), and after it arrives, let me know your own thoughts in a comment below.

Pure Fiji Australia - Well priced and luxurious hair and body products

If you haven't encountered Pure Fiji's range yet you're in for a real treat.

By way of introduction, Pure Fiji hair and beauty products come in a range of different fragrances and purposes from hydrating body lotions, scrubs, coconut sugar rubs, exotic bath and body oils, body butters, soaps, shower gels, room mists and body sprays, coconut milk bath soaks, shampoos, conditioners and more. They have specific solutions for important health and beauty needs such as their Dilo rescue bath therapy.

Dilo is an impressive nut extract that is worth checking out. In their own words:

"Known as ‘the tree of a thousand virtues’, the Sacred Dilo tree makes its home on white coral sands in the pristine Islands of Fiji - drawing its sustenance directly from the nutrient rich warm waters of the Pacific Ocean. It is known to possess a unique capacity to enhance the skin’s own repair mechanism, soothe pain and irritation as well as promote the growth of healthy skin."

One real success story is their interesting MANA'IA range for men. Apart from having one of coolest names I've seen for a range of male-oriented products, listen to its origins:

"The Mana’ia were revered, holding great status and respect in their societies. The secret of these handsome men was a powerful blend of cold-pressed drift nut oils which they used as part of their daily skin care rituals to nourish, hydrate and protect their skin. Pure Fiji brings you the best of these ancient rituals with treatments that are all natural, convenient and have great results."

One of the best ways you might want to introduce yourself (or someone else) to their range is to select one of Pure Fiji's gift packs. The Pure Fiji Island Bliss pack is great (and includes a nice candle) and also try the Pure Fiji Travel Bag - Mini Sampler, which contains a shower gel, creme scrub, oil, lotion, body butter, dilo resue gel, shampoo, & conditioner of assorted fragrances. They also have a MANA'IA travel pack. These packs are around $22 - $55 and make great gifts.

Without sounding too fancy, I feel that Pure Fiji is very successful at bottling up tropical island luxury and delivering it right to your urban doorstep.

So place an order now and test my opinion. I'd be curious to know yours too, so when your package arrives, leave a message in a comment below and tell me what you think.

New from Alien Characters. Alien Stories for Kids on your Kindle from Amazon.

In the style of Mr Men and Thomas the Tank Engine (with a bit of Douglas Adams style reality) comes Alien Characters, a monthly series of science fiction short story ebooks for children aged 6-10.

Separate titles include Alien Bob the house grower, Alien Hamish the star mover and intergalactic navigator, Alien Robert the robot technician and child care worker, Alien Christine the crystal energy technologist and healer, Alien Tim the Time Minister, Alien Vince the air recycling plant and environmentalist, Alien Carla the Galactic communications channeller, Alien Rex the parallel reality trade specialist, Alien Amanda the galactic immigration minister, Alien Nathanial the magnatheric energy and First Contact specialist, Alien Anneke the galactic flash relocation accountant, and a number of other residents of the Large Magellanic Cloud. From series 2 most characters are somewhere on board the ship The Celestial Breeze along with its Companion Planet, collecting more Alien Characters before leaving for their journey to the Milky Way Galaxy.

Each short story focuses on a new Alien Character and whatever problem they need to solve on the way. For example, in Alien William - He decides to move some of his millions of descendants to multiple alternate realities where his race doesn't exist so they can spread throughout infinite levels of reality, but is told by the consciousness of the galaxy that her other parallel selves can't allow it, so he needs to find another way.

The Face of Social Media Has Changed – Power to the People

Social Media Marketing has changed and for the better. Social Loot is a brand new concept that pays you real cash to refer your friends to your favourite brands using blogs, social media and email. There are 700 businesses in Australia that are part of the program and it seems to be growing at an amazing rate.

It is really simple. Their partner businesses create a campaign outlining a few key messages that they want spread via social media and setup a budget defining how much they are prepared to pay per referral. You sign up for a free account and choose which businesses you want to promote and which of their messages is a good fit for your friends/followers. Everything is tracked and once you have made a few referrals, Social Loot pays you via Paypal. They have a cool video that explains it all. It really makes sense. I know that I have often promoted businesses, which benefits them, but I got nothing and this makes it fair for everyone.

Some of their partner businesses include: Spreets, Roses Only, Cracka Wine and Digi Direct but you can see a full list of Social Loot businesses on their website.

Another cool thing, is that they support a growing list of charities and encourage you (for no fee) to help raise awareness.

You can earn a couple of hundred dollars a month – but be warned that they have a strong ‘NO SPAM’ policy and a lot of checks in place to ensure that you are only promoting businesses that you feel will honestly benefit your friends.

I encourage you to join Social Loot – I did and it genuinely works.

Laser hair removal's extra bonus: stubble removal!

Many people have tried laser hair removal and enjoyed the benefits of this treatment, including smooth, hair free skin and zero ingrown hairs.

But did you also know that laser hair removal results in stubble removal? This is because, unlike other hair removal methods such as waxing or shaving, you do not have to wait for regrowth to get your next laser treatment.

Laser works by targeting the melanin in a hair follicle and destroying it. This significantly damages the follicle and the existing hair instantly stops growing. This hair can be allowed to fall out naturally or your can shave it off following the treatment.

Why you shouldn’t wax following your laser treatment, click here to find out more.

You can then get your next treatment before that hair reappears; and because the hair takes longer and longer to appear after each treatment, this means no more annoying stubble or stubble rash. In fact, you can be visually hair-free from your very first session.

So if you’re keen to remove stubble along with hair, contact Laser By Sia for the latest in laser hair removal treatments. They are located in Bondi, Sydney and now offering services to residents of Wahroonga and surrounds with a new Castle Hill clinic.

Brought to you by Social Loot - Refer your friends, be rewarded!

Best discovery this year: Laser by Sia

A good, safe, clean and reputable place for laser is very hard to find.

Laser by Sia is just such a place.

They offer medical grade laser and cosmetic treatments in Sydney, with clinics in Sydney city, Bondi, and Castle Hill, and they are also said to provide their services to a number of celebrities.

With highly-trained professionals on staff - including a registered nurse - this clinic is worth experiencing at least once. The laser hair treatment clinic rooms are spacious, the team is friendly, and you see real value for money.

For quality, comfortable laser hair removal treatments that leave zero ingrown hairs, make an appointment as early as you can.

After you've experienced Laser by Sia, please leave your thoughts on how it went in a comment below so that others can see.

Royal Tag - Designer Fashion and Great Discounts

If you aren't fashion hunting on Royal Tag by now you're missing out.

Not because you can't find their designer fashion brands elsewhere, but rather Royal Tag do exactly as they say and slash the cost of many items considerably.

On average, from my experience, you'll find items that carry discounts will be 25% or more. Still others are at 40-45% and you can even find up to 70% off.

And Royal Tag make shopping easier and comfortable with free shipping Australia wide, and 30 day returns policy. It's the little things that really make a difference.

A word about the famous designer labels, and I'll even separate my highlights for men, and for women:

For men: Calvin Klein Jeans, Kenneth Cole, Levi's, Tommy Hilfiger shirts, Ralph Lauren Polo

For women: Tommy, Calvin Klein Jackets, Ralph Lauren, DKNY, Michael Kors, Burberry, Country Road, and I liked this London Fog trench coat, so they get a special mention.

There's obviously crossover as well, in fact their women's range of Tommy is just as good as their men's if not better.

Top three areas on Royal Tag you should check out:

I should mention in passing that Royal Tag's accessories are also top quality. Consider this Kenneth Cole Men's Black Leather Briefcase Bag ($100 off when I looked) or Hugo Boss black smooth leather wallet; and for women, their handbags include brands like Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Prada, some Samsonite travel bags ($100 off, or 55%), and I particularly liked the Michael Kors Black/White Logo Summer Tote Bag at a very nice $185 when I saw it (which was 45% off).

Enough from me. Head to Royal Tag now, bookmark it, buy something nice (because you know you deserve it), and then leave a comment below about your experience!

Just Jewellery (and their 20% off secret offer)

I decided to search for jewellery to see what results I got. There are a number of Australian online jewellery stores but I really liked Just Jewellery.

Wonderful range, lovely quality and style, and what I feel are very down-to-earth prices - and I don't say that lightly.

I mentioned range: Just Jewellery stock all the finer things in life: anklets, bracelets, bangles, brooches, charms, cufflinks, earrings, necklaces, pendants, rings, and toe rings. Now check here to see if I left anything out!

You can also browse by gemstone or by material which is excellent. In fact if you see the right-hand panel there are many more ways to choose.

Their best sellers are worth checking out as well, and, I also found a 20% code which you use at check out once your done filling up your cart with all your glittering, glitzy, glamourous goodies. (The code is SOCIAL20 and it even works on sale items - try it!)

And you really should. Just Jewellery was a breeze to order from. Speaking of which, checkout includes PayPal which is always handy, and they often have free shipping / flat rate. AND they deliver internationally.

I can't wait for my stuff to arrive. I'll bet you one of their free gifts that you can't guess what I bought!

Leave a comment to try!

These aren't your regulars. GemMX specialises in independent, free-thinking action sports brands.

Kids designer clothing is big. Just like children, it's an industry that just grows and grows. Not only because parents do want to be seen to give their kids the best, but because there is an increasing idea that quality counts when it comes to kids' clothing.

Frankly, and I'm sure you'll agree: the only section of society into extreme sports of one form or another in a dedicated and consistent way - much to parents' dismay - are children! They're at it daily.

The clothes they wear simply have to last.

Which brings me to Royal Kids

First off - their sister site is Royal Tag which sells the same and similar brands for adults. Royal Kids is fairly new and works on the same basic principle of good brands - online.

Royal Kids struck me as elegant in its simplicity - a breeze to use, excellent 30-day returns policy and what I really liked was that they ship immediately/same day if you order by 12pm. You're welcome to try pick up some Calvin Klein kids clothing before high noon and test the theory! Let me know below how it went.

They separate things as follows: boys designer clothing and girls designer clothing, New arrivals, what's on sale, and then by brand, so: Tommy Hilfiger kids clothing or Ralph Lauren baby clothes

To give you an idea of sales, when I last looked, they had this DKNY Baby Girls Pink Knit Dress and Leggings Set at $100 off, and other items such as DKNY Baby Girls Pink 3 Piece Vest Set - at around $199.95, which was a very nice $200 off, or 50%. I'll mention one for the boys too, which looked very smart: the Ralph Lauren Baby Boys 2 Piece Orange Oxford Shirt and Pants Set. No one does stripes like Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger in Men's clothing also.

Instead of me going on - by now hopefully you've paid a visit and are poking around the Royal Kids website, yourselves.

With that in mind, take the time to explore Royal Kids now, and please leave your shopping experience with them in a comment below.

A novel way to quit smoking: Mobile Smoke Busters

I was looking for something completely different when Mobile Smoke Busters popped up. I checked it out and here's what I found:

Quit Smoking Hypnotherapy

  • To quit smoking, they use hypnosis. Apparently Matt Damon quit smoking using this method.
  • The service is mobile, so either you can head to their Hornsby clinic or they'll come 'round to your place
  • No side effects, but they recommend not driving right after the session because you'd still be too relaxed. Wouldn't mind that sensation from time to time, cigarette smoke or not.
  • What is interesting is that the hypnotherapy used to get you to quit smoking means you don't lose control.

The reviews are good, they have a lifetime guarantee, and the practitioner is NLP certified and is a certified hypnotherapist as well.

Check out the Mobile Smoke Busters site and if you like the idea of hypnotherapy to quit smoking, maybe give it a try.

What are your thoughts? Have you ever thought of hypnotherapy for smoking or any other habit? Tell me all about it in a comment below.

The Basket People - Good things come in large, quality packages

There are a number of hamper companies that have cropped up over the years. It's a good business to be in because putting a basket together yourself (or hundreds of them for corporate gifts) takes a lot of consideration and effort.

While some still prefer to prepare such gifts themselves, there's one company that has been around a long time, and which has mastered the ability to add the same personal touch as if you had put it together yourself.

The Basket People achieve this through careful thought and TLC as to what particulars should feature, in what quantities, and understandable prices. The proof being the uniqueness of various baskets, and also in The Basket People's flexibility. They have a whole section dedicated to allowing you to Include your Products, something that would interest corporate gift idea hunters I thought. Companies could add in samples of stock and leave the rest to the professionals.

They have prepared baskets by occasion: Easter gift baskets, Father's Day gift packs, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day (really, you can add spice to a relationship any day - or pep it up with their Coffee Lovers pack) and of course Christmas - with and without alcohol.

But the real treats I think you'll find is in their Best Seller and 'gifts up to 80% off' sections.

Try these:

It won't take you long to find something that suits your needs. But do try them out. I'm prepared to bet you'll become a repeat customer.

Leave your comment below describing your experience with The Basket People.

Nursing Angel = looking after mother and baby (and fathers) in every way

One of the best things about breastfeeding accessories and stylish maternity wear being available on your computer is that when you're heavily pregnant or caring for your new born - the last thing you really want to do is spend hours plodding around shopping centres picking up those things or baby care essentials.

You spend a lot more time at home especially during the last trimester but also throughout the 9 months. Being pregnant is every bit as wonderful as they say it is - but it's exhausting too.

An Australian online maternity and nursing store that should be bookmarked immediately is Nursing Angel.

Nursing Angel is heavenly and different.

For one thing, they aren't all about product. They provide fantastic, free motherhood resources that answer common parenting questions and address areas of concern such as Blocked Ducts & Mastitis and Working & Breastfeeding. Additionally, they have a blog and a growing Facebook community as well. For resources that are not free but still very affordable, see their Books, CDs and DVDs section, where you can find the true literary gem, "Breastfeeding Sucks" ($15).

Nursing Angel stocks maternity wear, motherhood essentials and accessories, however they specialise in breastfeeding, breast pumps and baby carriers.

Top areas to visit:

Selection of stocked brands:

A word on breast pumps. These can be absolute lifesavers, and one of Nursing Angel's key points of difference is that they offer breast pump hire in Sydney as well as selling them outright. One example is the Medela Symphony Hospital Grade Breast Pump Hire .

There is a lot to explore on Nursing Angel, far too much for this one blog post. Spend some time there now if you don't have the link open already.

The Real Deal on TheRealDeal.com.au

How times have changed.

People have gradually become used to the idea that they can easily save their 10% GST if not much more by shopping online. First they have given it a go with simple, low-risk items. Just like other experiences in life - the first time is the scariest, and then it just comes naturally.

As a result of shoppers having confidence in the system, guarantees from online sellers and so on, more and more online-only shops have cropped up selling items like kitchen and laundry appliances, 3D ready TVs and more that I think even 5-7 years ago no one would have dreamt of purchasing outside of a brick-and-mortar store.

One recent example is TheRealDeal.com.au.

Very new, here are some points I first noticed:

TheRealDeal is worth exploring for big-ticket items as well as smaller personal care or personal use (phones, cameras, tablets, etc). There's as much choice for kitchen and laundry items as there is for high quality audio and visual products.

Check out TheRealDeal.com.au briefly now if you haven't already. They are proudly Australian-owned and operated as well.

What do you think - about the change in shopping habits, and what are your first impressions of TheRealDeal? Leave a comment below

Tap2Table - Amazing party feature

I just came across this awesome drinks dispenser for parties.

You can buy Tap2Table's portable drinks dispenser now from here.

The website says it would work for occasions such as:

  • Cocktail parties
  • At home after work (if that's an occasion!)
  • Dinner entertaining
  • BBQs
  • Pre-drinks
  • Poker nights
  • Family gatherings
  • Sports functions
  • and more

The accessories are sensible - even impressive, as well: removable ice chamber, and check out the light ice cubes - not actual ice, of course.

Tap2Table would, in my opinion make a spectacular centrepiece.

Check out what for sure is the coolest alternative to a jug, a table top drink dispenser to die for: http://tinyurl.com/7b5z62r/97b2

Adore Maternity for babies and mums - much more than I expected

This shop was a terrific find. If you're browsing for baby products online or gorgeous maternity wear (for pregnant or nursing mums) you might want to take a look at Adore Maternity.

Actually I found a lot more than that:

They have a range of soaps, organic baby massage oils, lotions, and washes called Little Innoscents which I think - looking at a few of the product descriptions and organic ingredients - are wonderful,  and (very importantly in Australia) the Babies Only range includes Babies Only Clear Zinc Sunscreen. We know Down Under how much more important it is to keep kids protected from the sun the younger they are, and I'm often amazed how parents in other countries just aren't as concerned.

Lastly, when I checked they also had 50% off some very cute bamboo baby body suits

That's for baby. For mums with newborns on the way there are some surprisingly stylish dresses, and the Sweet Dreams Maternity Sleepwear looked very well priced for the functionality it provides. In fact my only real gripe is that there were only 6 items in the dresses section. Would like to see more of the same.

For mum and baby they stock the Milkbar portable nursing pillow for breastfeeding. So often you'll see one mum leaning forward during feeding time and later complaining of a bad back - this product helps you adjust the height where the child rests so you're more comfortable.

I'd seen it around but if you are thinking about it or anything mummy-baby products better to pick it up from here because Adore Maternity has free shipping available around Australia on most items.

So check it out now while you have a free moment (rare for mums, I know!): Adore Maternity

Fertile Mind - Maternity Fashion and More

I recently came across Fertile Mind, which is an online store that stocks gorgeous maternity wear and a number of essential baby goods items.

Here's what I liked:

There's a lot to check out here and if you're living that short, amazing (and complex) time before your life changes for good - or have friends that are - you should definitely spend some time exploring FertileMind maternity clothes.

Best of luck and please leave a comment below to tell me what from FertileMind maternity wear you would personally recommend to others?

Best thing I ever did for my kids

FINALLY got the kids active and away from the playstation, xbox, wii, foxtel, computer, and all the things that kept them on the couch before. Did it with Little Kickers - it worked like magic (they LOVE it).

Their pitch: "Approved football training for children from 18 months to 7th birthday" - boys and girls, by the way. Highly recommended.

Watch this very cute video as well to see what kind of stuff they get up to in the sessions.

To all my fellow parents (and grandparents too!) - kids need to move, and this is a great way to get them active and having fun (and burning the energy they'd otherwise tear your house down with!). If and when you call up, ask them for the free trial offer - it should still be running.

The one I found is active in QLD: Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.

To sum up, Little Kickers = you little beauty!

SABA - Summer style - latest thoughts

Summer is going strong, and summer looks are everywhere.

I recently decided to hop on over to SABA's website to play around and see how they're presenting in that space. I also checked out their facebook page.

So here are my latest thoughts, back to front:

SABA on facebook is a great community and well served by loads of competitions and freebies. For example, when I checked, there was a Likes competition to win one of their must-have Summer bags. I pledge allegiance to no one brand, but I will say SABA bags look fantastic, and along with their shoes are the pick of their accessory range. Recommend becoming part of the fun with a Like. After all, likes are free.

SABA's site is full to the brim. They're talking a lot about SABA elements - eight core building blocks for one's wardrobe. That's from their blog. Check out elements for women, and elements for men. They've done a good job simplifying things to consider for the fashion hopeless, but they are also good reminders for people who know how to dress themselves.

I mentioned Summer, and their Summer stripes are a lovely look. I liked their Willa Stripe dress - the blue is deep and rich and is everything Summer should be about.

One word though in general - be wary during February, which traditionally has the most number of overcast days. A basic tip: be sure to consider how you will look under those light conditions if you're out during the day. Weather is difficult to work towards, but try.

Sticking with the blue/indigo theme, their butterfly maxi dress is also gorgeous.

Their range is, as always, terrific, with jackets and vests for work wear sure to please. Also, if you like one of their new stylish looks (men and women), press 'select all' for a printable 10% voucher to take with you when you head into store.

Too much to talk about, really and I've barely touched on SABA for men. I'll wrap up here, however do check it out.

Head there now: http://tinyurl.com/76kr36f/08b8

I liked Motto.com.au

I just received a package in the mail from a new discovery of mine – the Motto online store.  I think this one will become a personal favourite as I love the idea of a fashion line that’s designed and run by women – they just get it!

Run by a mother and daughter team based in Melbourne, Motto sell fabulous Australian made designs and with a gorgeous customer service team to boot.  They have some really great clothes (which are all stretchy and require no ironing), and I have my eye on some of their stretch jersey basics for a future order, as well as some of their more exclusive printed tunics.

The website is cleverly laid out and is very clearly the product of a team of women who love fashion and love giving other women the opportunity to look and feel good.  All of their garments are designed with a woman’s body in mind, so you can be rest assured, every seam, pattern and style, is designed to flatter the female body.  Their concept is all about layering and creating multiple outfits and looks from minimal pieces. The site also has a Key Looks and Magazine section dedicated to showcasing different outfit combinations where you can click to purchase part of, or the whole outfit.

When I signed up for their newsletter they sent me a $20 voucher.  I love to be updated on great new arrivals, and when I used this voucher to place my order, the online team were sending me emails along the way and were always a pleasure to deal with.  When I received my package in the mail it was wrapped in a really beautiful piece of hand picked fabric from their warehouse in Melbourne, which was such a pleasant surprise compared to the usual plastic wrapping or tissue paper.   I couldn’t be happier.

The start of the week saw risk assets outperform as US data continues to top estimates with stocks and higher yielding assets advancing across the board. The situation in Europe has continued to deteriorate however with remarks made by senior officials suggesting that the Germans remain steadfast in their opposition to expanding the European bail-out fund. While the euro trade remains increasingly crowded, we will attempt to focus on the highest yielding currency among the majors as gauge of broader markets sentiment. Although there are numerous scalps we are currently watching, the Australian dollar remains our setup of choice as we look for the aussie to pare the 1.75% advance seen in the first three trading sessions of 2012.

Little Kickers - Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast

I've been thinking of ways to get kids active and away from the playstation, xbox, wii, foxtel, computer, and all the million things turning them into potatoes in front of my eyes.

I've been looking at Little Kickers lately and it sounds fantastic: "Approved football training for children from 18 months to 7th birthday" - boys and girls. Highly recommend watching the very cute video as well. Pretty cool, huh?

If you're a parent or grandparent reading this (and you probably are), think about getting them signed up. Kids need to move, so get them active asap.

All sessions are indoors and safe.

Little Kickers. Give it a go - I think I remember seeing there's a free trial option.
